TinyTravlR is in private beta — testers wanted! 🧪
A wave of new features just landed — ratings, question clues, walking hints, 6 languages — and we're opening the doors to family testers. Pick your cities and play new adventures first.
It's been a busy spring behind the scenes, and the app has grown so much that it's time for the next step: TinyTravlR is now in private beta!
What's new in the app
Since the last update, a whole wave of features went live:
- ⭐ Ratings & reviews — finished an adventure? Rate it 1–5 stars and leave a tip for the next family.
- ❓ Question clues — some clues now ask a question you can only answer by looking around at the location. The right answer is your proof you found it!
- 🚶 Walking hints — friendly directions between clues, so you always know roughly where to head next.
- 🎒 Before you go — every city now comes with practical travel tips: transport tickets, opening days, and local treats for the kids.
- 🗺️ Maps your way — open the starting point and reward locations in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.
- 🔮 Mystery word — collect letters with every clue you find and solve the word by the end of the adventure.
- 🎉 A proper finale — sounds and confetti when you complete an adventure (the kids approve).
- 🌍 6 languages — the whole app now plays in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Logging in got simpler too: no passwords, no links — you get a 6-digit code by email and you're in.
Become a tester
Here's the big change: TinyTravlR is now invite-only while we polish each city to the standard we want. And that's where you come in.
We're looking for families to test adventures before they go live — in Prague and Ghent today, Faro very soon. And the next cities? Those are yours to suggest: when you apply, you can pick up to three cities anywhere in the world you'd like to test. If we build there, you'll be the first to play.
As a tester you get early access to hidden adventures for free, and your feedback directly decides when a city is ready to launch.
