Where TinyTravlR is today: real families, real cities, and a map of what's next πΊοΈ
An update from the private beta β families are out testing real city hunts, you can now browse every city (live, in testing, and planned), and the cities you ask for most get built first.
We promised to build TinyTravlR in the open, so here's where things stand today. π§
The short version: the private beta is humming. Real families are out on the cobblestones following clues, solving riddles, and telling us exactly what works (and what doesn't) β and the app gets a little better every week because of them.
A new home for cities
The biggest visible change: there's now a Cities page. In one place you can see:
- Play now β hunts that are ready to go.
- In testing β adventures our testers are putting through their paces right now.
- Planned β the cities we're building next.
There's even a little map so you can spot where the adventures are. Have a browse and see if your city is on it yet.
Tell us where to play next
Here's the part we're most excited about: **the cities you ask for most get built first. ** Every time a tester suggests a city, it climbs our planned list β so the more people want a place, the sooner it jumps the queue. If your hometown (or your next holiday spot) isn't there yet, that's your cue. π
Made better by testers
So much of what's new came straight from tester feedback β clearer clues, friendlier questions, a tester leaderboard with badges to earn, and a pile of small polish that adds up to a smoother adventure. Our testers don't just play; they shape the thing.
What's next
We're heading toward a public launch, and the road there is mostly about more cities and final polish. We'll keep sharing milestones here as we go.
Want in?
The beta is still open to family testers. You pick the cities you'd love to explore, play new adventures before anyone else (free during the beta), and help decide what we build next.
π Become a tester β we review every application personally.
See you out there! πΊοΈ β Iris
